It is so good to have journeyed this far in the course and to receive course four feedback from OCA Tutor. The feedback is thorough, correct, professional and knowledgeable, and perceptive. As a result it gives reassurance to the learning process. There is a sense of personal exploration and a degree of independent study through the coursework which is freeing yet at the same time supported by excellent Tutor signposting. It is a good way to learn.
There are some real gems in the feedback especially relating to ideas for developing assignment four further. Generally if you were to select the main concepts from the feedback it would be research, composition, and really getting to grips with ensuring the brief is understood, addressed and interpreted accordingly.
Here is the opportunity to be able to learn and re-learn by being offered the choice to revisit previous exercises and refine the portfolio submission.
There is also the welcome invitation to re-negotiate the submission date for coursework five which is now agreed to 3rd December. As directed Part 5 assignment is a “major project” requiring careful research and applying the accumulation of learning throughout the course.
Again it is lovely to receive the OCA congratulations: for coursework three it was a subtle and interesting work from drawing 2 student and for coursework four it is a detailed work by an illustration 1 student (and this time, not only do I enjoy the image, but also am much more aware of the style and materials : watercolour and ink !).
I am so pleased to receive, complete and submit the form to OCA today (11th September 2019) for March 2021 assessment.
And to start Part 5 coursework………
